Welcome to the 41st. Edition of the monthly newsletter for theSaturday lunchtime concerts.

Looking Back
Organ music started the March series of concerts (1st.) with a programme by Andrew West, the Assistant Director of Music at Pinner Parish Church. He included the Bach Toccata and Fugue in D minor in his programme.

There was a slight change to the listed concert on the 8th. With Malcolm away for the weekend working with our good friend Henry Macey in Norfolk, Brian Neal kindly stepped in at the piano with his ever popular choice of light music, that included Disney and other film selections. Steven Christmas (guitar) and Stephen Willis (baritone) joined forces on the 15th. with a wonderful programme featuring music by John Dowland and John Rutter. Elaine and Malcolm once again provided us with moving readings and music for Easter Saturday (22nd.) to prepare us for Holy Week.

March ends today (29th.) with another fine classical pianist, Catherine Leonard, making her first appearance at St. Mary’s.

Concerts in April
Classical guitarist Matthew McAllister returns on the 5th. with flautist Aisling Agnew and the following Saturday, (12th.) there is a change once more to the printed concert diary listing. Malcolm will accompany Susan Piggott (soprano) in a selection of songs. He also assists a young Paulina Labuz (violin) in a programme that includes music by Handel, Dvorak and Fritz Kreisler. Paulina studies with Mark Robbins.

Another soprano joins us on the 19th., Ruth Hopkins and the final concert of the month (26th.) features the impressive Priory School Chamber Choir from Burnham.
