Malcolm Stowell (Organist & Choirmaster of St. Mary's and Chairman of the Windsor & District Organists' Association) founded the series of Saturday Lunchtime Concerts in 1990. These live concerts take place very Saturday in St. Mary's at 12pm and last for about 35 minutes. Concerts are free, although we are always grateful to receive donations as the upkeep of the church costs at least £100 a day to enable its musical and spiritual life to continue. 2003 saw the launch of our first CD, followed by a second in August 2005. We have performed music especially written for us from the following countries: England, Scotland, Austria, Germany, Canada, Japan, America, Australia, Northern Ireland, and Spain. July 2008 saw our monumental 1000th concert! For information on parking for the concerts, click here.
