School meets each week during the 09.30
service. We begin the morning in church for the start
of the service, and return later for the Eucharist. In between
times, up to twenty children between the ages of three and
twelve, plus a selection of adult helpers, get to make more
noise than the rest of the congregation, while getting to
know the Bible, leaning new songs, practicing for plays and
so on. This usually involves plenty of paper, crayons, glue
and fun. We also have a children’s play area within
the church for smaller children.
The children
of Saint Mary's are valued as important members of the church
family, and are included in every aspect of church life.
Our children are not ‘tomorrow’s
church’, but very much part of today’s.
If you
